After carefully reviewing the guidelines of the Governor of California’s executive order regarding COVID-19, we believe it is in the best interest of our customers and staff to temporarily close our lobby until further notice.

Our customer service staff will continue to be available by telephone during normal business hours. If you have something you need to deliver to the district, please email it to customerservice@rosamondcsd.com or send it via FAX to 661-256-2557.

As a reminder, payments can be made online and via phone, mail, or district drop-box, no cash accepted. New service applications and disconnection forms can be sent to customerservice@rosamondcsd.com.

Upcoming Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District 

Many of you will be receiving a special assessment ballot in the mail in mid-March to either cast your support or opposition to a new district designated as Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District No. 3. If approved, the new district would replace the existing Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District Nos. 1 and 2 (LLADs) and the existing LLADs will dissolve and assessments would cease to be levied.

Assessment ballot packages are being sent to parcels within the proposed district. To assist you, a GIS interactive map has been created, allowing you to simply type in your property address. If your property is listed in the map, you will be able to pull up your specific property details and characteristics, as well as what your annual assessment amount will be if the district passes and what you are currently paying under the existing LLAD 2. If your property does not come up, this means that your property is most likely outside of the new assessment district boundaries and you will not be receiving an assessment ballot package in the mail.

Reporting Maintenance Issues 

Rosamond Community Services District collects the payments for the street lights and forwards those funds directly to Southern California Edison.  If you have a maintenance issue with your street light please contact Southern California Edison directly to report it be clicking here.
